Advancements in Boring Mill Technology

Control Systems – Three types of numeric control systems – Siemens 840D, Fanuc 31i and Heidenhain iTNC 530 can be used with the WFC 13 CNC machines. The CNC systems are simple to operate and have in them very useful functions that are user-friendly.

Axes – WFT 13 comes with one rotary axis and four linear axes (X, Y, Z, W and B) that travel on a precise trail.

A servo rotary table is provided enables for constant contouring rotation of the B axis, along with the movement of X, Y, Z or W axes.
In the metal cutting process, the Z axis movement column is in use, and the work-pieces are perfectly clamped over the rotary table travelling along the X axis.
The 80 mm diameter ball screw on the Y axis, along with a powerful headstock and rigid column make the machine a rugged build. The Heidenhain linear scales, non-clip-stick rotary table and a standard spindle thermal monitoring system embedded with the machine ensure high accuracy levels.

WF 13 CNC – Floor Type 

The Floor Type horizontal boring machine, WF 13 CNC is a basic machine with standard configurations designed for high degree of coordinated boring, milling, cutting and drilling of threads in large sized heavy work-pieces weighing up to 20,000 kgs. This model is best suited for heavy duty use with metals like iron, steel and cast steel.

Depending on the customer’s machining requirement, WF 13 is designed, customized and developed with Floor Plates/Rotary Tables. For added advantage and improved performance, a wide range of accessories are provided with the machine, thus permitting wider versatility. The model comes with movable spindle ranging up to 130 mm diameter. The smartly designed WF 13 matches customer demands ideally.
